Privacy Policy
What Vertal Strike stores about you, why, and how to get rid of it. Last updated: 23 August 2026.
The short version
Vertal Strike keeps the minimum it needs to run online matches and your career: an account, your match stats, and purchase records. The game contains no advertising and no third-party tracking SDKs. We never see your card number. You can delete your account, and everything attached to it, at any time.
What the game stores
Account. Your nickname and password (stored bcrypt-hashed, never in plain text). If you sign in through Steam, we store your Steam ID instead. If you register with an e-mail address, we store that too, along with the IP address used at registration.
Career stats. Kills, deaths, score, play time, level, coins, weapon unlocks and quest progress — the numbers behind your Barracks profile and the public leaderboard.
Purchases. Which coin pack you bought and when. Payment itself is handled by Stripe or by Steam; your card or wallet details never reach our servers.
Moderation trail. Currency and account changes are logged with before/after values, and bans are recorded. This is what makes ban appeals and refund checks possible.
Support messages. If you contact us in game or by e-mail, we keep the message so we can answer it.
What we don't collect
No advertising identifiers, no analytics SDKs inside the game, no contact lists, no microphone or file access, no selling of data to anyone. The game talks to our own servers and to the services listed below — nothing else.
Services the game relies on
Photon (Exit Games GmbH). Multiplayer traffic is relayed through Photon Cloud servers in the EU, so your IP address is visible to them while you play — that is how any online match works. See the Photon privacy policy.
Steam (Valve). Sign-in, downloads, achievements and Steam wallet payments are governed by the Steam privacy policy.
Server logs. Our backend runs on Google Cloud, which records request logs (IP address, timestamp, endpoint) for roughly 30 days. We use them for debugging and abuse prevention, then they expire on their own.
This website
vertalstrike.com uses Google Analytics (via Firebase) to count visits and see which pages get read. That is the only tracking on the site. See Google's privacy policy for how they process it.
Retention and deletion
Career data lives as long as your account does. Delete your account from your in-game profile, or e-mail us and we will do it for you — this removes the account row and the stats attached to it. Server logs expire after about 30 days regardless.
You can also ask for a copy of the data we hold about you. Either way, write to info@vertalstrike.com from the address or Steam profile tied to the account; we answer within 48 hours.
Who is responsible
Vertal Strike is developed and operated by Drozd Studios, Slovakia. For anything privacy-related, contact info@vertalstrike.com. If we ever change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so in the patch notes rather than silently editing this page.
